-- July 1, 2009 -- Today marked the end of an era at WristRock with the shipment of all remaining Gibson Flying V Guitar Watches to our reseller partner, Premier for Kids of Beverly Hills. What started out at 10,000 pieces in four fashionable colors a few short years ago, ended with the last few Pewter/Marble models today. The Flying V thus joins the ranks of the Gibson Explorer, Firebird, and Les Paul Custom as retired with honor. Only two Gibson vintage guitar models remain: The 1961 Les Paul SG, sold out in Cherry, Black, and Silver, but remains in Gold. The Cherry Nighthawk is the lone ranger of the Nighthawks, with the gold, black, and silver models selling out over this past Christmas holiday season. Gibson thanks you. WristRock thanks you.
